The Free Community Magazine
Their story:
Four friends in Gallup, New Mexico wanted to create an avenue for community pride and positivity. In August 2004, Gallup Journey became a reality; 12,000 copies of the first issue were printed and distributed to homes, restaurants and businesses in Gallup. Home delivery continued every month, mostly via bicycle, for the next 18 months. Gallup Journey continues to be a small, family-owned business and an important part of Gallup’s media outlets. Magazines can be found at local restaurants, hotels and businesses each month.
